So, I'm deploying in about two weeks... wow, this year flew by! It's certainly been a year filled with ups and downs, and it'll hopefully end on a good note overseas. I've learned and grown so much through this year.. I'm ready to slow down, smell the flowers, and enjoy life. I've found that I have amazing friends and family who care so much for me.. and that's all you need in life. To love, and be loved. Now I have an great guy that makes me feel pretty special, and I'm happy to be able to have him on deployment with me... (though I still miss my dog) LOL
Anyhoo, we had our Navy holiday party last weekend. It's really the Christmas party, but, since we're going to be gone for Christmas we got to have it early. It was a blast! Something is always wrong at the party, but, this year was great! I sat with a table of my good friends, had a wonderful man with me, and got to dance and have a good time! I'm not sure if I'll be posting again before we leave.. but, I should be posting through deployment! I'll try to get my address to anyone that wants to write me! =)

Well don't you look pretty! I miss having a reason to dress up... maybe Rob's job (whenever he gets a new one) will have fancy parties. And I hope everything goes well overseas- and that you come back! I want to go over there (not as a soldier though) but at the same time it's a little scary. Maybe someday, though. And I'm glad you get to have your boyfriend with you- if you can't have your dog, I guess a boyfriend is an ok replacement:)
